Job Summary

Empire State Bank is seeking a dedicated Loan Processor to join our team in Staten Island, New York. This role provides essential clerical and administrative support to the bank's lending operations, ensuring prompt and courteous customer service. The Loan Processor will manage more intricate transactions and tasks within the loan processing department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support for the bank's lending processing functions.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Handle complex transactions and assignments within the loan processing area.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all loan documentation and processing steps.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Previous experience in loan processing is essential, including a solid understanding of loan documentation, underwriting packages, and the closing/processing workflow.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards is expected.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
