Aufgaben

Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und Sicherstellung einer rechtskonformen Buchhaltung sowie eines aussagekräftigen Finanzreportings, einschließlich der Konsolidierung der Unternehmensgruppe nach HGB und IFRS
Sicherstellung der termingerechten Erstellung der monatlichen, quartalsweisen und jährlichen Abschlüsse der deutschen Unternehmensgesellschaft
Enge Kooperation mit Wirtschaftsprüfern und externen Beratern in sämtlichen buchhalterischen Be­langen
Abstimmung mit dem Mutterkonzern und Unterstützung bei der Erstellung des Konzernabschlusses
Aufbau effizienter Reporting-Strukturen sowie kontinuierliche Optimierung der Softwarelandschaft in der Buchhaltung in Zusammenarbeit mit den relevanten Schnittstellen
Gesamtverantwortung für alle Buchhaltungsprozesse sowie deren fortlaufende Verbesserung, einschließlich der Planung und Durchführung von Projekten

English:

Responsibility for the compliant and accurate accounting as well as financial reporting of the German entities in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the required IFRS reporting packages for Group reporting purposes
Responsibility for consolidation activities and close coordination with the Group regarding reporting requirements, accounting policies, and closing processes
Ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and driving the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and internal controls
Acting as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal and external stakeholders on accounting and audit-related matters
Responsibility for intercompany reconciliations and ensuring the accurate recording of intercompany transactions
Further development and optimization of accounting processes as well as the ERP and reporting landscape in collaboration with relevant departments
Leading, developing, and mentoring the accounting team while building a high-performing and scalable finance organization

Qualifikation

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Accounting/ Finanzen oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Mindestens 10-15 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen
Umfassende Kenntnisse in IFRS, HGB und der Konzernrechnungslegung
Fundierte Führungserfahrung im Bereich Accounting, idealerweise in einem größeren Unternehmen
Tiefes Verständnis von Buchhaltungsprozessen sowie umfangreiche Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

English

Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification
At least 10–15 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally within an international environment
Strong knowledge of IFRS, HGB, and Group accounting principles
Hands-on experience in preparing IFRS reporting packages for Group consolidation
Strong understanding of accounting processes and experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA
Experience reporting to a listed parent company is considered an advantage
Proven leadership experience in accounting, combined with the ability to develop and empower teams through targeted coaching and training
Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
