Role overview

An opportunity is open for a Learning Trainer to join Amazon Australia’s Learning team at the Lytton, Brisbane Legacy site, which is the city’s only fulfillment centre. In this position, you will coordinate with workplace process trainers, referred to as ambassadors, to provide high-quality training for both new and existing associates.

What you will do

  • Design, run, and evaluate training programs for new and seasoned associates.
  • Handle training administration tasks, including building, entering, and maintaining training rosters.
  • Guide and support ambassadors as they train and coach associates.
  • Help review and track the effectiveness of training efforts across the fulfilment centre.
  • Learn warehouse processes quickly and build subject-matter expertise in new areas.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of safety practices in the fulfilment centre and act promptly when corrective action is needed.
  • Support audit readiness and refresher or one-point change training requirements.
  • Keep learning spaces and training areas organised and ready for use.
  • Work in process paths each week and rotate through different warehouse areas to stay current and identify training gaps or associate barriers.
  • Coach associates and help them perform successfully in their roles.

Basic requirements

  • Availability to work 38 hours per week, with overtime when needed.
  • Relevant experience using clear communication, including experience delivering group training and preparing related communication and training materials.

  • Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
  • Strong time management, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
