Role summary

The Junior HR Data Analyst will support the Head of HR and the broader HR function by gathering, structuring, and interpreting people data across the Group’s entities and businesses. The position is centered on delivering accurate and timely insights on headcount, workforce mix, attrition, performance, and compensation, while also helping build dashboards and analyses that support workforce planning, organization design, talent decisions, and executive and board-level people reporting.

Data management and quality

  • Pull, combine, and update employee data from the Group HRIS and other source systems while protecting data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Track data quality issues, such as missing fields, duplicates, and mismatched records, and work with HR business partners to correct them.
  • Keep data repositories well organized with clear naming rules so information can be accessed and analyzed efficiently.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining HR data structures, classifications, and master data such as job codes, grades, and cost centers.

Reporting and dashboards

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and on-demand HR reports covering headcount, hires, exits, attrition, demographics, nationalization, and other key workforce indicators.
  • Create and update dashboards in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to give HR partners and business leaders self-service access to data.
  • Help prepare executive and board reporting packs, ensuring the numbers are consistent, clear, and accurate.
  • Maintain HR scorecards and KPI trackers, and call out notable trends and variances for management review.

People analytics

  • Analyze movements in headcount, attrition drivers, span of control, organizational structure, and workforce composition across the Group.
  • Support compensation analysis work, including pay band review, salary benchmarking inputs, bonus distribution, and compa-ratio tracking.
  • Provide data support for performance cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning discussions.
  • Review engagement survey results and other feedback data to identify common themes and actionable recommendations.

Projects and process support

  • Assist with data analysis and modeling for HR projects such as organization design reviews, restructuring, job evaluations, and workforce planning.
  • Support recruitment analytics, including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline health measures.
  • Help prepare data for HR policy reviews, audits, and regulatory or statutory reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to improving HR reporting processes, templates, and analytical frameworks.

General expectations

  • Handle all employee and people-related information with strict confidentiality and in line with applicable data protection requirements.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and uphold company values in day-to-day work.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or another relevant quantitative discipline from a recognized university is required. Added certifications in HR analytics, Power BI, or data visualization are considered an advantage. The role is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous internships in HR, analytics, or consulting are beneficial. Experience with HRIS reporting, dashboard development, or people analytics is an added plus. Exposure to a multi-entity or holding-group environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical skills

The role requires strong command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting, and advanced formulas. Working knowledge of Power BI or a similar visualization tool is expected, along with the ability to design clear and structured dashboards. Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, Bayzat, or comparable systems is important, especially when handling large data exports. A basic understanding of core HR areas such as organization design, grading, compensation, performance management, and workforce planning is also needed. Exposure to SQL or scripting languages like Python or R would be beneficial, though not essential.

Personal attributes

Success in this role depends on a meticulous and organized working style, strong analytical thinking, curiosity about underlying trends, and the ability to translate data into practical insights. The ideal candidate communicates clearly in writing and speaking, handles confidential employee and compensation information with integrity, stays proactive under multiple deadlines, and works well with HR partners across different business units.
