TITLE: Invent L3
DESCRIPTION:
Role OverviewLitmus7 is hiring an Invent L3 professional in Trivandrum, Kerala. This is a full-time onsite role focused on supporting merchandise planning and retail planning systems, with an emphasis on incident management, data troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication.
What You’ll Work OnSupport merchandise planning, forecasting, and retail planning platforms across implementation and production support activities.
Work directly with Invent.ai / MerchPlan and related planning workflows.
Handle retail planning processes such as forecasting, OTB, assortment, allocation, replenishment, promotions, markdowns, and seasonal planning.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including window functions and performance tuning, to validate and reconcile data.
Investigate and resolve integration issues involving SFTP, CSV or flat-file transfers, REST APIs, and ETL pipelines.
Develop diagnostic, automation, and remediation scripts using Python or Bash.
Review Linux logs, understand basic Linux operations, and work effectively in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
Own high-severity incidents end to end and prepare clear root-cause analyses with practical follow-up actions.
Communicate technical findings in a way that business users such as merchandisers and finance teams can understand.
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
RequirementsAt least 6 years of relevant experience supporting merchandise planning, forecasting, or retail planning systems.
Hands-on background with Invent.ai / MerchPlan.
Strong domain knowledge of retail planning concepts and workflows.
Advanced SQL skills for analysis, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation.
Experience with system integrations and ETL issue resolution.
Working knowledge of scripting with Python or Bash.
Familiarity with Linux fundamentals, log interpretation, and SaaS environments.
History of managing critical incidents and documenting root-cause analysis.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Willingness to be part of an on-call schedule.
