Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to steer the HR agenda in Qatar. This role will shape both strategy and day-to-day operations across talent, employee relations, performance, compensation and benefits, learning, and compliance, ensuring HR directly supports business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement HR strategies that are closely aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Strengthen employee relations, improve engagement, and help sustain a high-performing workplace culture.
- Own performance management processes along with compensation and benefits programs.
- Maintain adherence to Qatar labor regulations and internal HR standards and policies.
- Support leadership with HR data analysis, reporting, and organizational design and development inputs.
- Design and improve HR procedures and governance frameworks that increase efficiency and scalability.
- Guide, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure strong execution and capability growth.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is considered an advantage.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in HR, including senior leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of Qatar labor law and established HR practices.
- Hands-on experience in talent management, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is preferred.
- Prior experience in fast-growing organizations or multi-business settings will be beneficial.
