Role Overview
KUAN AIK HONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is looking for an HR Executive to handle a broad range of human resource and administrative duties, with particular emphasis on supporting foreign construction workers. This position is based in Singapore, near the Kembangan MRT / Chai Chee area, and follows a Monday to Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end HR and admin activities, especially those related to foreign workers in the construction workforce.
- Handle the registration, renewal, and coordination of mandatory training and certification such as Coretrade, CSOC, and similar requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, including leave processing, medical benefits under PCP, and general HR enquiries.
- Manage insurance renewal matters and support Work Injury Compensation and medical insurance claim processing when needed.
- Keep employee information accurate and up to date, maintain organised filing records, and assist with day-to-day office administration.
- Prepare payroll correctly and on time, including wage calculations for daily-rated workers.
- Support the onboarding process and repatriation arrangements for Work Permit holders.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Carry out other HR and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- A diploma, degree, or an equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior HR experience, ideally within the construction sector.
- Working knowledge of MOM work pass procedures and payroll administration would be an advantage.
- Exposure to CoreTrade, CSOC, PCP, WIC, and related industry compliance requirements is preferred.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Capable of working independently in a busy environment while managing several priorities at once.
- Preference for candidates with around 3 years of relevant HR administration experience.
