The business works with international clients who are leaders in their respective industries.Role overviewThis position is for a GCP Server Specialist working from home. The role centers on managing cloud-based server infrastructure, keeping systems stable and secure, and supporting deployment and operational workflows in Google Cloud environments.Core responsibilitiesSet up, configure, and oversee server infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.Track system health, uptime, and security across cloud environments.Administer Google Compute Engine instances, virtual machines, storage, and networking components.Handle load balancers, firewalls, VPCs, DNS configuration, and SSL certificate maintenance.Put backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans into practice.Investigate and resolve server, application, and network problems.Carry out server hardening, patching, and security maintenance.Assist with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation efforts.Review cloud spending and suggest ways to improve cost efficiency.Keep operational documentation and system procedures up to date.Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support deployments and production systems.Eligibility and experienceCandidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Computer Science Engineering students are eligible to apply.Required knowledge and other expectationsPractical experience with Google Cloud Platform.Hands-on work with Google Compute Engine.Strong Linux server administration skills, including Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or similar distributions.Experience with cloud networking, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools.Ability to use shell scripting and automation tools.Understanding of cloud security practices and IAM controls.Capability to diagnose server and infrastructure issues effectively.Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery methods.Compensation and other detailsThe annual salary is between INR 3,50,000 and INR 5,50,000.
