Finance Manager

Role Overview

Curefit is hiring a Finance Manager who can take ownership of financial reporting, audit finalisation, and recurring monthly and quarterly finance cycles. This position suits a proactive professional with strong attention to detail, solid technical grounding in Ind AS, and practical experience in financial controls and reconciliations.

The role calls for a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 1 year of relevant industry experience. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure financial statements are prepared accurately each quarter, support audit completion, and compare results against listed peer companies where required.

Financial Statements and Reporting

• Prepare quarterly financial statements in line with Ind AS and applicable regulatory obligations.
• Make sure all backup schedules tie back correctly with the trial balance every quarter.
• Conduct peer comparisons and variance analysis against listed companies.

Month-End Closure and Costing

• Manage month-end closing work such as provisions, accruals, and related accounting adjustments.
• Complete COGS calculations in alignment with business activities and inventory valuation rules.
• Partner with the team to validate expense provisions and confirm proper cut-off for the relevant period.

Audit and Compliance

• Own the audit closure process and serve as the main contact for statutory and internal auditors.
• Maintain adherence to Ind AS, the Companies Act, and other relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
• Keep documentation accurate and close audit queries promptly.

Team Coordination and Communication

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology to ensure finance receives accurate, timely inputs.
• Support and coach team members to strengthen reconciliations, provisions, and reporting quality.
• Build disciplined timelines for finance close activities.

Financial Control and Governance

• Maintain strong internal controls across revenue, cost, and provisions.
• Review balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations.
• Track working capital components and share meaningful insights with management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience is required.
• Strong command over Ind AS, financial reporting, and audit procedures.
• Ability to independently prepare quarterly financial statements and drive audit closure.
• Excellent analytical ability, accuracy, and commitment to deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems, especially Oracle.
• Working knowledge of MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Structured, process-driven approach with familiarity in automation for financial reporting.
