About the role
This Facilities Coordinator opportunity is based in Canterbury, New Zealand, with a convenient Christchurch CBD location. It is a full-time onsite position working Monday to Friday for 32.5 hours each week.
The role sits within a Reception and Facilities support team and focuses on delivering an outstanding experience for both internal and external stakeholders. It is well suited to someone with strong customer service ability who may be moving from retail or hospitality into a more corporate environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality service experience for internal teams, clients, and visitors.
- Keep entrances and meeting rooms maintained to a consistently professional standard.
- Assist staff with meeting room reservations and other day-to-day requests as needed.
- Support client events and functions in a polished, professional setting.
- Carry out general administrative work and provide help with varied ad hoc tasks.
- Maintain strong local knowledge of nearby amenities.
- Escort clients to meeting rooms when required.
- Follow Canon and client health and safety expectations at all times.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in a similar position or within retail/hospitality. A positive, proactive attitude and a strong focus on service are important.
