Role overview
This position supports semiconductor wafer fabrication activities in a production setting. The role focuses on operating and monitoring equipment used in steps such as alignment, masking, etching, and diffusion, while helping keep process performance within required control limits.
Core duties
- Run wafer fabrication tasks involved in semiconductor device production.
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment for alignment, masking, etch, and diffusion activities.
- Set up, calibrate, and monitor process equipment used in the fab environment.
- Follow established methods to identify issues and apply corrective actions when process parameters move out of control.
- Work on clearly defined tasks using standard procedures and tools.
- Produce assigned work with close supervision and guidance.
- Handle routine problems that require knowledge of specific processes and operating steps.
- Share relevant information with team members as needed.
