Role overview
We are seeking a committed Staffing Operations Executive to support pandamart store operations in Singapore. This role is central to managing staffing and recruitment needs so that store teams are fully supported and daily operations can continue without interruption.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the full recruitment cycle for pandamart store operations staff, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer processing.
- Design and apply practical sourcing methods across different channels and platforms to improve hiring efficiency.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Workforce Planning, Training, Operations, and HR teams, while keeping them informed on candidate progress and pipeline status.
- Build and maintain a reserve pool of temporary workers to help ensure every shift is covered for daily store operations.
- Create backup staffing plans to address schedule gaps caused by absenteeism, medical leave, or other shortfalls.
- Review turnover and retention trends to estimate future hiring requirements.
- Coordinate training for incoming hires and send roll-call reminders to help secure full attendance.
- Keep job descriptions current so the hiring criteria remain aligned with the profiles being recruited.
Qualifications and requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is required.
- Availability to support urgent staffing needs after office hours and on weekends is necessary.
- Working knowledge of hiring practices and Singapore MOM labour regulations is important.
- Strong ability to assess candidates accurately through screening and interviews.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills are needed.
- A proactive mindset toward recruitment and hiring is expected.
