Role overview
This is a contract opportunity for an Excel Expert to support business operations and strategy work from a remote setup in the United Kingdom. The assignment is designed for someone who can work across 10 to 40 hours each week and provide practical, high-quality Excel solutions.
What you’ll do
- Assess intricate Excel workbooks used in business operations and strategic planning, then improve their structure and usability.
- Share clear feedback and practical examples of strong Excel practices for operational scenarios.
- Create, document, and pass along templates or solutions that can be used for AI training and learning workflows.
- Work with internal teams to uncover important processes and operational pain points reflected in Excel files.
- Test and model realistic business situations by using advanced Excel capabilities.
What we’re looking for
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated formulas, functions, and automation features.
- Hands-on background building Excel-based solutions in business operations or consulting settings.
- Excellent analytical ability to tackle complex business issues outside of finance using Excel.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
- Practical experience with data analysis, scenario planning, and process improvement in Excel.
Working terms
The engagement is remote and contract-based. Compensation is set between $40 and $55 per hour, and the expected workload is 10–40 hours per week.
