About the role

The Estimator will join the Estimating Team based at the Wayville office in Adelaide. This position is centered on preparing bids, supporting post-tender commercial discussions, and ensuring smooth transition of awarded work into delivery.

Key duties

• Support the preparation and lodgement of tender submissions.
• Assist with negotiations after tender submission and through contract finalisation.
• Help coordinate the handover of tenders to the delivery team once a project is secured.
• Keep current with relevant industry standards and estimating practices.
• Prepare estimates for land development projects, including residential and industrial subdivisions.
• Contribute to pricing for water, sewer, and recycled water upgrade works for SA Water.
• Estimate road infrastructure and stormwater drainage projects for local councils and DIT.

What you need to succeed

This role suits someone with solid civil construction estimating capability, practical project exposure, and an understanding of the local market. A strong foundation in first-principles estimating is essential, and prior use of Expert Estimation or CATS is considered an advantage.
