About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is crucial for preparing precise cost estimations and quotations for ironmongery projects. You will be instrumental in reviewing project blueprints and specifications, offering essential technical and commercial guidance from the initial bidding phase through to project completion. Effective collaboration with sales, procurement, operations teams, external contractors, consultants, and suppliers is key to ensuring competitive pricing, adherence to technical standards, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and quotations for ironmongery projects.
• Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Provide expert technical and commercial advice during the tendering process.
• Liaise with internal departments (sales, procurement, operations) to gather necessary information.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and technical compliance with project requirements.
• Support project execution from tender award to completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically within the ironmongery or architectural hardware sector.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural ironmongery, door hardware systems, and fire-rated door assemblies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documentation and drawings.
• Strong understanding of tendering processes and commercial aspects of construction projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in the United Arab Emirates.
