Electrical Draftsperson

Role overviewLarsen & Toubro is seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to support substation and power distribution projects from the Faridabad location. The role calls for a diploma-qualified professional with solid drafting and detailing experience, especially in AIS and GIS substation as well as power distribution work. The ideal candidate should be able to build complete layouts, think creatively about design options, and recommend practical modifications where needed.Key responsibilitiesTake design inputs from engineers and convert them into working drawings.Create detailed electrical drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, and layout plans.Prepare 2D and 3D drawings and related documentation in line with quality standards.Share draft drawings with the design engineer for evaluation and feedback.Update drawings based on corrections and remarks received from the design team.Work out quantities directly from the drawings when required.Complete assigned work within the man-hours provided.Technical expertiseThe candidate must be comfortable with electrical drafting and should be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Working knowledge of MS Office and Navisworks is considered an added advantage.Operating networkInternally, the role works closely with Design Engineers and Design Leads.
