Role OverviewThis position focuses on accelerating direct-to-consumer growth for a consumer brand by combining performance marketing, analytics, ecommerce strategy, and customer experience improvement. The role calls for strong ownership of revenue growth, consumer acquisition, retention, and channel performance across digital touchpoints.Qualification and ExperienceMaster’s or postgraduate degree in Management with a focus on Sales and Marketing.At least 5 years of experience in FMCG sales.Minimum 3 years of experience handling ecommerce customers in the consumer goods or beauty category.Exposure of 2 to 3 years in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, or Marketing roles will be an added advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute strategies that improve DTC revenue while strengthening the consumer journey.Design and roll out direct marketing plans to drive profitable expansion of the DTC business.Plan and manage performance marketing initiatives to improve acquisition, repeat purchase, and conversion outcomes.Run digital marketing programs across analytics, email, social, search, and content for web channels.Own the online marketing approach, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and partnership opportunities.Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen the brand and support sub-brand strategy across ecommerce channels.Coordinate with brand and ecommerce merchandising teams to improve revenue from direct channels.Build and maintain productive relationships with agencies, consultants, and vendors to support store and channel growth.Use data analysis to track KPIs, spot patterns, and turn insights into action, while promoting a test-and-learn culture across the D2C team.Lead and support a team by coaching members and helping them meet individual as well as team objectives.Monitor industry movements and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.Partner with tech and product teams to improve website speed, mobile user experience, and checkout performance.Set up and oversee D2C dashboards for key metrics such as CAC, LTV, AOV, and ROAS.Develop consumer segmentation using first-party data, cohort analysis, and predictive modelling for highly targeted campaigns.Review past sales performance, velocity data, and promotional impact to support inventory forecasting with supply chain teams and avoid stock shortages for high-demand SKUs.Required SkillsDirect-to-consumer strategyPerformance marketingDigital campaign managementMarketing analyticsEcommerce operationsCustomer acquisition and retentionConsumer segmentationCross-functional collaborationTeam leadershipDashboard reportingInventory forecastingStakeholder managementAdditional InformationThis is an onsite role based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
