Dodge Construction Network is hiring a Data Quality Analyst to help ensure the reliability, completeness, and consistency of company and contact data across its master data environment. This is a practical, hands-on individual contributor role focused on data operations, quality review, and process improvement. The position involves resolving data discrepancies, identifying recurring issues, and working with offshore teams to refine workflows and improve execution.
The role also includes maintaining standard operating procedures, creating and monitoring quality scorecards and reporting, leading QA and UAT for technical changes, and surfacing patterns that support automation and operational improvements. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics.
Location and travel
This is a remote, home-office-based position. Candidates based anywhere in the continental United States may be considered, with a preference for applicants in the Central and Eastern time zones. Applicants in other U.S. time zones may also be reviewed. Travel requirements are minimal.
What you'll do
- Examine and correct conflicts, duplicates, and exceptions in company and contact data across the master data ecosystem.
- Review data quality trends, determine underlying causes, and suggest fixes or process enhancements.
- Create, maintain, and follow SOPs for entity creation, updates, merges, and resolution of conflicts.
- Work with offshore teams to coordinate assigned tasks, provide direction, and validate completed work.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports that measure data quality KPIs and team performance.
- Maintain data standards, classification logic, and taxonomy definitions.
- Assess automation results and identify gaps or irregularities that need manual review.
- Handle internal and client-facing questions about company and contact data accuracy, including investigation results and resolution updates.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sourcing on CEM roadmap priorities.
Education and experience
A bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and work experience, is required. The role calls for at least 3 years of experience in data operations, master data management, digital operations, or business transformation. Experience working in cross-functional or distributed teams, including offshore or vendor collaboration, is also needed.
Skills and qualifications
Strong analytical thinking, careful attention to detail, and solid problem-solving ability are important for this role. Candidates should be comfortable working with SQL and/or Python, interpreting data patterns, and turning findings into practical recommendations. Experience with SOPs, quality frameworks, operational workflows, data governance, and QA practices is expected. Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to adjust to changing processes and help improve workflows.
Preferred background
Additional value will come from experience with machine learning inputs, data enrichment, third-party data integrations, automation tools, data pipelines, scalable product hierarchies or taxonomy frameworks, data visualization tools such as AWS Quicksight, Power BI, or Tableau, Salesforce, cloud-based data environments, Jira, Confluence, and knowledge of the construction industry or content workflows.
