Role Overview

Infosys is hiring a Data Analyst to work on-site in Bengaluru East, Karnataka. The role focuses on understanding business needs, converting them into technical requirements, and partnering with engineering and analytics teams to deliver effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and data requirements.
• Convert business expectations into clear technical specifications.
• Share requirements with engineering teams and support solution development.
• Work alongside engineering to build and roll out solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Track data platform performance and suggest improvements where needed.
• Keep current with emerging data tools, platforms, and industry trends.
• Coordinate with data engineering, data analytics, and data science teams as needed.

Technical Experience and Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Git, Jenkins, and Dynatrace.
• Exposure to large-scale data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of data governance and security practices.
• Strong grasp of data modeling, data extraction, and big data ecosystems.
• Experience with agile delivery methods.
• At least 2 years of practical experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Looker, Lucene Query, Python, and Google Standard SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
