About the Role

Lyft’s mission is to serve and connect people by creating a workplace where every team member feels included and has room to succeed. The Driver Earnings team focuses on managing driver earnings products, improving financial metrics, and strengthening marketplace performance. The team builds and refines automation and execution for earnings products, launches new offerings, and monitors financial performance to support business growth.

This role is for an analyst who will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve earnings products and track their financial results within the broader Marketplace organization. Your analysis, insights, and ability to tell a clear story with data will help shape current and future strategy, especially around experimentation and product enhancements. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-minded, and strong at solving analytical problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist marketplace operations by delivering high-quality analysis, product recommendations, and reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Build expertise in marketplace patterns and support recurring weekly reporting for the Rideshare organization.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the lever portfolio and contribute to cross-functional work aimed at improving current products and creating new ones.
  • Evaluate marketplace product and financial levers, then turn findings into actionable recommendations for partner teams.
  • Apply decision-making frameworks with a critical eye to identify improvement areas and opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare recurring business reviews for leadership, emphasizing the most important issues and priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders and other teams to track, report, and reconcile budget allocation across marketplace programs.
  • Study data, carry out research, and convert feedback into plans, workflows, and playbooks.

Experience and Skills

We are seeking someone with 1–3 years of experience in a fast-growing environment, ideally in data analytics or financial analytics. The right person will have a strong eye for detail, a habit of building processes that reduce manual mistakes, and solid SQL and quantitative analysis skills. You should be comfortable working through large datasets, identifying meaningful patterns, and translating them into practical business conclusions.

Strong candidates will also know how to build outcome-focused recommendations, explain the reasoning behind them, and create an execution plan that supports business goals. Excellent communication skills are important, including the ability to listen carefully, write clearly, speak confidently, and tailor findings to different audiences. Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities is essential, along with the persistence to get to the root cause of a problem.

Benefits

  • Extended medical and dental coverage options, plus life insurance and disability coverage
  • Mental wellness support
  • Family planning support
  • Childcare and pet-related benefits
  • Access to a Lyft-funded Health Care Savings Account
  • RRSP plan with company matching
  • Flexible paid time off for salaried employees, subject to manager approval, in addition to provincial statutory holidays
  • Hourly employees receive 15 days of paid time off, plus one extra day for each year of service
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave top-up for biological, adoptive, and foster parents
  • Subsidized commuter support and Lyft ride credits
