Role overview
G4S is hiring a Courier in Blantyre, Southern Region, Malawi. The role focuses on handling consignments accurately, keeping records in order, and supporting the movement of items through receiving, dispatch, loading, and delivery checks.
Key responsibilities
- Accept incoming consignments and prepare outgoing consignments for dispatch.
- Track and compare consignments that have been delivered versus those still pending.
- Load and unload consignments safely and efficiently.
- Verify waybills against each individual consignment to ensure correctness.
- Confirm that every item is properly weighed and entered on the consignment sheet.
Qualifications and skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and work to deadlines.
- Minimum qualification of the Malawi School Certificate of Education.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Comfortable using a computer, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Well organized and capable of working with limited supervision.
