Key Responsibilities
- Check that aircraft cabins consistently meet premium standards for appearance, finish, and overall cosmetic condition.
- Track adherence to cabin maintenance procedures, required standards, and quality expectations.
- Manage Daily Cabin Check (DCC) activities and confirm that defects are properly corrected before the aircraft is cleared for service.
- Spot repeated cabin issues, investigate the underlying causes, and help implement corrective measures.
- Use quality authority to escalate concerns or hold cabin release when standards are not satisfied.
- Compile cabin quality reports and follow key performance indicators such as repeat defects and correction turnaround times.
- Work closely with Maintenance Control, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Make sure all work aligns with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is likely to be a current or former Cabin Crew professional with a solid understanding of aircraft cabin standards and the passenger experience. Experience in cabin maintenance, cabin appearance control, inspections, or quality-related work would be valuable. Background with an airline, MRO, or aviation service provider is preferred, and exposure to premium international carriers such as Emirates or Qatar Airways would be an advantage. The role also calls for strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to high cabin quality.
Education & Experience
A diploma in Aviation, Engineering, Quality, Design, IT, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma may also be considered if they bring relevant aviation experience. The position calls for 5 to 10 years of experience in aircraft cabin or interior maintenance, with additional value placed on experience in quality inspections, audits, or cabin appearance management. Practical knowledge of DCC processes, cabin materials, and cosmetic standards is important.

Useful additional qualifications include certification in Aviation Quality, Inspection, or Audit, along with training in cabin standards, customer experience, or human factors.
