Role overview
This position is for a day-shift cleaner at a major site in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role sits within a facilities management team that helps maintain a clean, safe, healthy and secure environment for people working on important public and commercial contracts. You will be part of a wider cleaning team supporting high standards across the site.
Working pattern
The job follows a 4-days-on, 4-days-off rotation, with working hours from 05:30 to 17:30. This is a permanent full-time role of 39 hours per week.
Pay and travel support
The pay rate is £16.02 per hour. Free travel is provided to the HPC construction site through Park & Ride services from J23, J24, J25, Burnham on Sea, Minehead, Wiliton and Weston Super Mare, with additional pickup points in Taunton and Bridgwater. A daily travel allowance is also paid, depending on the bus pickup location allocated. An annual performance-related payment may also be available based on overall team performance.
Main duties
You will help maintain excellent cleanliness standards across the HPC site, working in line with a flow cleaning approach and carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks as required.
