Key duties

Keep all areas of the pub clean to a high standard, including customer spaces, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff-only areas, and outside areas.
Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in line with the standard operating procedures.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
Check cleaning stock levels and inform the manager when supplies need replenishing.
Report maintenance concerns and pest-control issues to the manager on duty.
Greet customers courteously and interact in a polite, professional manner by saying thank you and goodbye.
Take part in induction, job-specific, and ongoing refresher training, and contribute to service improvements.
