Class 2 Delivery Driver

Role overview

This position is for a local Class 2 delivery driver who will be part of a customer-focused transport team. The job is varied and involves regular driving routes, building strong relationships with repeat customers, and helping ensure deliveries arrive on time with a high standard of service. The operation runs seven days a week, so shifts may include weekends.

There are also overtime opportunities available, and fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

What you will do

• Load goods onto the vehicle at the branch and unload them at customer locations.
• Make sure customers receive the stock they need to keep their shelves supplied.
• Complete delivery paperwork carefully and accurately.
• Represent the business professionally while working with customers and supporting the delivery operation.

What you need

Applicants should hold a Cat C / 18T / Class 2 licence and have at least two years of driving experience. Previous delivery driving experience is preferred. The role also calls for the ability to handle manual deliveries, strong interpersonal skills, a positive customer-service mindset, and good literacy and numeracy.
