What you will do

You will play an important part in delivering high-quality day-to-day care for residents. The role calls for patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others, while contributing to a calm and caring atmosphere where residents feel valued and supported.

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate has previous experience supporting or caring for others, preferably in an aged-care setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities are important, along with a friendly service mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. A solid understanding of health and safety practices is also essential.

Qualification preference

A minimum NZQA Level Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification such as a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, is preferred.
