Overview
Draken is looking for experienced Captains to join its Lear XR60 and Challenger 604 operations in Saudi Arabia. These aircraft are permanently based in the country and will support the company’s contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force. This is an opportunity to help shape a developing airborne operation from the outset, with the fleets expected to evolve into a modern electronic warfare capability.
Role responsibilities
- Ensure flight activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all applicable regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Plan and perform specialised flying profiles, including formation operations.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider crew to achieve mission goals while maintaining high professional standards.
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and customers, helping protect and strengthen Draken’s reputation for quality.
Qualifications and experience
- UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A).
- Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical.
- At least 2,000 total flying hours.
- At least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command.
- Current or previously held Multi-Engine IR.
- Completion of MCC course.
- Completion of AUPRT course.
- Tactical military captaincy background.
- Ability to obtain and keep UK MOD security clearances; nationality restrictions apply.
- Applicants must also hold suitable aircraft-specific, civilian, and tactical qualifications required for Captain-level roles.
