Role overview
An established Irish food manufacturing company is hiring a Business Development Manager to cover the Cork and Kerry territory. The position is focused on expanding revenue, strengthening customer partnerships, and growing business across foodservice and hospitality channels.
This is a field-based opportunity with a wide level of independence, suited to someone who enjoys managing their own schedule, working directly with customers, and developing a defined region.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and grow relationships with current customers across Cork and Kerry.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within foodservice and hospitality.
- Carry out regular customer visits, account reviews, and business development activity.
- Expand product usage and revenue from existing accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a dependable commercial partner.
Customer sectors
You will work with a broad mix of businesses, including hotels and hotel groups, restaurants and cafés, takeaways and fast-casual operators, catering companies, food manufacturers, and foodservice distributors.
Candidate background
