Warehouse Operations Associate / Warehouse Worker

Role Overview

This full-time warehouse operations position is based in Midway, Georgia and is part of a large supply chain and logistics network. Depending on assessment results and business needs, applicants may be placed in either a Warehouse Associate or Warehouse Worker role.

Pay Details

Warehouse Associate roles start at $20.05 per hour, with a pay range of $20.05 to $22.96 per hour. Warehouse Worker roles start at $21.10 per hour, with a pay range of $21.10 to $24.27 per hour. In addition, eligible team members may receive shift differential pay of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour. Pay may increase over time based on tenure in the role, depending on progression eligibility.

What You Will Do

You will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly by handling merchandise safely, accurately, and efficiently. The work involves packing, loading, shipping, processing inventory, and keeping the work area organized and clean. You will also support continuous improvement by solving problems, working with others, and maintaining a positive, respectful approach.

Core Duties

• Work in line with safety rules and procedures to help maintain a safe environment for all team members.
• Participate in safety training and learn how to operate in a busy warehouse setting.
• Pack, load, and prepare items for shipment to stores and guests.
• Process merchandise accurately for stores and guests.
• Move freight and inventory through the warehouse quickly and safely.
• Keep the assigned workspace tidy, clean, and well organized.
• Arrive on time and complete assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines.
• Use problem-solving skills to support ongoing improvement efforts.
• Maintain a respectful, cooperative attitude while working alone or with a team.

General Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and carry 35-50 lbs during a shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Strong enough to work independently while also contributing positively in a team setting.
• Basic math ability, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documents accurately.
• Capable of using computers or handheld devices with limited direction after training.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English well enough to follow safety rules, instructions, and training.

Role-Specific Requirements

• Warehouse Worker candidates must be able to train on and safely operate powered equipment such as pallet riders, scissor lifts, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up forklifts.
• Warehouse Worker candidates may need to work at heights of up to 40 feet, including on a mezzanine where applicable.
• If assigned to a food distribution center, the role may require working in refrigerated and freezer environments for most of the shift.
