Role overview
Supermac’s is hiring a Trainee Manager for its Cork Rd location in Waterford. This is a strong step-up opportunity for a seasoned supervisor who is ready to move into management within a well-known fast-food brand.
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Ireland.
What you’ll do
- Partner with the Store Manager to help the restaurant achieve and surpass its performance goals.
- Support and guide team members on a daily basis while keeping standards high across the site.
- Lead from the front and actively contribute to the development of the team.
- Deliver training across all core Supermac’s processes and operating standards.
- Help manage in-store sales activity and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with employee relations matters when required.
About you
This role suits an experienced supervisor from the food industry who is prepared to take on broader responsibility. You should bring a customer-first mindset, a professional approach, and the confidence to motivate others.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the food sector.
- Strong abilities in leadership, organisation, communication, and planning.
- Genuine commitment to customer service and maintaining a polished professional image.
- Energetic, encouraging, and focused on customer satisfaction.
- Working knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP.
- Available to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
