Descrizione del lavoro

About the role

Neurolabs is building an execution intelligence platform for consumer packaged goods brands, giving them near real-time insight into what is actually happening in stores so they can act quickly on promotion compliance, pricing accuracy, and product availability. This position is a hands-on Technical Project Manager role focused on the critical link between sales, engineering, delivery, and customers.

You will own the handoff from closed deal to engineering kickoff, keep delivery moving smoothly, and make sure information, commitments, and expectations are carried correctly across teams. The role is designed for someone who can create the operating approach, not simply follow an existing one, and whose work will shape how this function runs at Neurolabs over time.

Why this role matters

At a fast-moving company, the quality of information flow determines speed, trust, and execution. When communication is clear, teams move quickly and customers stay confident. When it breaks down, deals slow, engineers begin with the wrong context, and customers are left waiting for answers. In this role, you will own that flow and make it dependable.

What you'll do

  • Create a consistent process that converts a signed deal into a clear engineering brief every time.
  • Ensure that context, commitments, and customer expectations move intact from the sales conversation into kickoff and delivery.
  • Remove blockers early so they do not turn into delays.
  • Give every team clarity on what needs to happen, by when, and for what reason.
  • Bring order to fast-moving work without slowing progress.
  • Send proactive and easy-to-understand customer and stakeholder updates before they need to ask.
  • Manage the gap between what was promised and what is being delivered so customers always know the status.
  • Handle day-to-day communication so escalations remain occasional rather than routine.
  • Track commitments across the team and make progress visible.
  • Spot slippage early and help replan before customers are affected.
  • Work closely with the Implementation Manager so handoffs do not create gaps.
  • Feed customer insight into planning and help shape what the product team builds next.
  • Use your credibility and understanding of the business to influence prioritisation and product direction.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring start-up or scale-up experience and a strong track record of owning cross-functional work in a resource-constrained environment. You should have acted as a bridge between commercial and technical teams, with regular exposure to both sales and engineering.

You will need evidence of delivering complex multi-team work from requirement gathering through to completion, while taking responsibility for the outcome. Strong stakeholder communication is essential, including proactive updates and confident handling of escalation situations.

Experience improving or building repeatable processes in a fast-moving setting is important. Neurolabs is particularly interested in candidates who have worked in companies of fewer than 50 people, or in agencies or consultancies where direct client contact was part of the role.

On the technical side, you should feel comfortable working with engineers, reading technical briefs, understanding blockers, and asking the right questions without needing everything over-explained. Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace is helpful. Background in software, SaaS, or AI is strongly preferred.

The role also calls for someone who is accountable, proactive in communication, calm under pressure, direct but professional when chasing actions or flagging risk, collaborative across engineering, sales, delivery, and leadership, and genuinely curious about the product and the direction of the business.

Benefits and compensation

The position offers a competitive base salary starting from £65,000 per year. Neurolabs also provides EMI share options that vest over 48 months with a 12-month cliff.

Pension contributions are made through Penfold via salary sacrifice, with 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution. Auto-enrolment begins after a 3-month postponement period, although joining earlier is possible.

The company follows a hybrid-first approach with at least 3 days per week in the London office near Liverpool Street Station. Additional perks include access to CharlieHR discounts across 30,000+ brands, Cycle to Work support through Cyclescheme, and a Holiday Purchase scheme that lets you buy up to 5 extra days of annual leave by monthly salary deduction.

You will receive 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to carry forward up to 3 days. Friday office lunch is provided in London, and the team also gets together for company socials during the year. AXA private medical insurance is fully covered by Neurolabs and includes cancer treatment, diagnostics, physiotherapy, counselling, and European travel insurance, with dental and optical handbooks also available.

Additional information

Neurolabs is not accepting unsolicited CVs or candidate introductions from recruitment agencies. Any profile shared without prior agreement will be treated as company property, and no fee will be paid.
