Descrizione del lavoro
About the role
This opportunity sits on Uber’s Global Membership and Loyalty team and is focused on helping shape and execute important near-term priorities across both Membership and Loyalty. The role calls for a sharp operator who can combine analysis, initiative, and collaboration to move strategic work forward.
The person in this position will serve as the main operational owner for selected strategic areas. You will be expected to treat the vertical like a business of its own: spot opportunities, define the plan, and drive execution with speed and accountability. This is suited to someone who works best with broad direction, not constant supervision, and who can confidently take complex projects from idea to delivery.
What you'll do
- Take full ownership of a strategic area and lead it from planning through execution to business results.
- Work independently to identify gaps, form strong recommendations, and create practical action plans without relying on a detailed roadmap.
- Use data from internal and external sources to build business cases and convert insights into concrete initiatives.
- Coordinate across teams in ambiguous situations and keep projects moving by aligning stakeholders and removing blockers.
- Own recurring leadership reporting and provide clear visibility into performance through executive-level business reviews and quarterly reviews.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a highly analytical, proactive, and collaborative operator who has already shown the ability to own work end to end with limited oversight.
- At least 1 year of experience in strategy, operations, analytics, consulting, or a closely related function.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, technical, or similar discipline.
- Comfort using AI tools, SQL, and Excel or Google Sheets, along with experience creating dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with the skill to turn raw data into actionable recommendations.
- A bias toward action, strong ownership, and the ability to work through challenges independently.
- Confidence operating in ambiguity and building initiatives from the ground up under high-level guidance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional partners.
- Experience surfacing insights that shaped strategy or contributed to business impact.
- Familiarity with executive reporting rhythms such as monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Exposure to partnership management or business development is a plus.
