Job Summary

Aldar Education is seeking an experienced Service Designer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and driving digital transformation across the organization. The Service Designer will be responsible for mapping, documenting, and improving end-to-end service processes, collaborating with various stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and design effective service models. The position requires a proactive individual who can translate business needs into structured process designs and promote best practices in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the creation and documentation of comprehensive end-to-end service processes for both Aldar Education headquarters and school operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to meticulously analyze current workflows, pinpointing areas for enhancement, automation, and digital integration.
• Develop detailed service blueprints, process maps, and operational models to effectively support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure all designed processes are scalable, efficient, and strategically aligned with Aldar Education's operational and digital objectives.
• Aid in the successful deployment of digital tools by ensuring the underlying business processes are clearly defined and optimized.
• Champion and disseminate best practices in service design, process design, and user-centric service delivery throughout the organization.
• Analyze existing operational workflows across various departments and schools to identify inefficiencies and areas ripe for improvement.
• Design comprehensive end-to-end service journeys and operational processes for critical business functions.
• Produce detailed process documentation, including service blueprints, process maps, operating procedures, user journeys, and RACI models where applicable.
• Ensure services are designed with clear lines of ownership, accountability, and robust operational governance.
• Work closely with Digital & Technology Services teams to design processes that facilitate the implementation of digital platforms and automation.
• Structure business processes to enable automation, seamless system integration, enhanced data visibility, and efficient service delivery.
• Translate intricate business requirements into structured process specifications to support digital product development.
• Engage closely with HQ departments, school operations, and digital teams to thoroughly understand operational requirements and service-related challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather crucial insights and define effective service improvements.
• Assist business teams in the adoption of new processes and service models.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize operational practices across the entire organization.
• Ensure services are designed with a strong focus on the end-user experience, encompassing parents, students, teachers, and internal staff.
• Monitor the outcomes of implemented changes and continuously refine service designs based on feedback and operational performance data.
• Establish clear standards and frameworks for documenting business processes and services organization-wide.
• Maintain an organized central repository for all service designs and process documentation.
• Ensure consistency and clarity in the structuring and communication of operational services.
