Job purpose

This role is focused on running and strengthening the telecalling vendor setup that generates leads and converts them into insurance sales for BSLI. The position is responsible for ensuring that manpower and capacity are used efficiently so the telecalling channel continues to function as an effective sales vertical within the BSLI–HDFC Bank banca partnership.

Role context and key challenges

  • One of the major challenges in this role is managing attrition and maintaining the required team size at the vendor end, especially because the market offers many alternative job opportunities.
  • The position also requires continuous pressure to meet targets across all HDFCEs and processes, track each lead conversion closely, ensure leads are distributed on time, and coordinate updates and process changes between the internal sales team and the telecalling vendor at short notice.
