Role overview
As a Sales Advisor at H&M, you will be central to delivering a memorable in-store experience. Your focus will be to greet customers warmly, guide them around the store, and help them find the right products while representing the brand with professionalism and care. In this role, you will contribute to your own performance as well as the store’s overall success by working in line with the company’s values.
What you will do
- Use your knowledge of fashion and products to support customers in making confident purchase decisions.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide excellent service throughout the customer journey.
- Keep the sales area and stockroom tidy, appealing, and properly replenished.
- Assist with store opening and closing routines.
- Maintain a positive image of yourself and the brand in every customer interaction.
Team environment
You will be part of a busy store team, where different roles work together to create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. In larger stores, this may include Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible, and Delivery Responsible. You will also interact with the wider area team across multiple stores to exchange ideas and support shared goals. Together, the team helps customers feel confident, express their style, and access fashion that is both current and sustainable.
About you
The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience in fashion, retail, or a related setting. You should enjoy working in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment and be comfortable engaging with customers while promoting products and supporting sales. Strong communication, curiosity, creativity, willingness to learn store technology, flexibility, and a practical, hands-on approach are important for success in this role.

Additional information
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Mysore - Forum Mall store in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The position reports to the Department Manager.
