About the Company
The Ned Doha is set inside Doha’s landmark former Ministry of Interior building. It combines historic character with polished luxury and modern design to deliver a distinctive hospitality experience.
The property features seven dining venues, 90 thoughtfully designed guest rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and Ned’s Club, an exclusive members’ club with a rooftop terrace, spa, gym, and a 30-metre outdoor pool.
Role Overview
The hotel is looking for an experienced and hands-on Rooms Division Manager to lead the day-to-day running of all room-related departments. The position focuses on smooth service delivery, strong guest satisfaction, and support for both operational and financial targets across Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Wellness.
Key Duties
- Manage the daily activities of Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Wellness to keep operations running efficiently.
- Help drive room revenue, occupancy performance, and guest experience improvements.
- Coach and support supervisors and team leaders to uphold consistently high standards.
- Review guest comments and online feedback, then act quickly to resolve concerns and raise service quality.
- Work with Sales and Marketing on offers, packages, and guest engagement efforts.
- Ensure all rooms division activities follow hotel policies, safety rules, and quality requirements.
- Support budget management, cost control, and effective use of resources.
- Carry out routine checks of guest rooms and public areas to confirm cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Resolve guest issues and escalations in a professional and timely way.
- Create a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-focused team environment.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a similar field is preferred.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel Rooms Division is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations is essential.
- Understanding of revenue management concepts is beneficial.
- Experience working with multicultural teams is important.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills are needed.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Comfort using hotel management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a guest-first mindset.
- Commitment to delivering high service standards and excellent guest care.
