Role overview
Join the R&D group in Berlin’s technology hub and contribute to the development of software and hardware solutions for machine vision, robotics, autonomous systems, and industrial automation.
Key responsibilities
- Create, manage, and deliver advanced systems and products for automation and robotics use cases.
- Build manufacturing workflows that align with international engineering standards.
- Work closely with fellow R&D engineers and technicians to plan and execute solutions.
- Compile research findings, development outcomes, and test results into clear reports.
- Review and interpret product development requirements.
- Track maintenance schedules and inspection routines.
- Design products for embedded systems and automation-oriented applications.
Candidate requirements
- A degree in engineering, such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
- Capability in architecture design across software, mechanical, or electrical domains.
- Prior experience working as a research and development engineer.
- Practical use of design and calculation tools.
- Solid understanding of physics as applied to mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles relevant to product standards.
- Additional familiarity with Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
