React JS Consultant

Role overview

This position is for an experienced React JS professional who will design and build scalable, responsive front-end experiences for production applications. The role involves close collaboration with backend, design, QA, and mobile teams to deliver polished, high-quality user interfaces.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain sophisticated, responsive interfaces using React / React.js and current front-end frameworks.
• Develop reusable UI components, hooks, and shared patterns that improve consistency and future scalability.
• Connect front-end features with backend systems and APIs, working alongside Node.js and related service teams.
• Implement effective state handling approaches, such as context-based patterns or similar solutions, for complex data and interactions.
• Improve application speed and responsiveness through profiling, optimization, and front-end performance best practices.
• Build and support web experiences with React Native for Web and work with React Native teams on mobile-aligned functionality.
• Follow strong engineering practices, including modular design, clean code, and maintainable project organization.
• Write unit and integration tests for React components and user flows to reduce defects and regressions.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback to uphold coding standards.
• Partner with UX/UI designers to turn wireframes and visuals into accurate, high-quality implementations.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex browser and device-specific front-end issues.
• Coach junior developers and contribute to process and tooling improvements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, grooming, and retrospectives, and help with estimation, technical design, and delivery planning.

What we're looking for

• 5 to 9 years of practical front-end development experience with a strong emphasis on React / React.js.
• Hands-on experience delivering production-grade applications with component-based and modular front-end architecture.
• Good command of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 in React-based development.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services, with basic exposure to Node.js.
• Familiarity with collaborative agile development practices, version control, and standard engineering workflows.
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance concepts, SOLID principles, and modeling methods.
• Awareness of modern technologies, trends, and best practices in front-end engineering.
• Excellent analytical thinking, debugging ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical foundation, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple technologies and domains.
• Knowledge of testing tools, architecture and design fundamentals, estimation methods, quality processes, project lifecycle activities, and business-domain requirements.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BTECH, MTECH, BE, ME, MSC, BSC, MCA, or BCA from a recognized institution and bring 5–9 years of relevant front-end experience.
