Role summary

This role is for a test engineer who will design the testing approach, build and run tests, and evaluate quality metrics to support product quality across different stages of development.

Experience required

Responsibilities

• Study the server products and create an effective testing architecture.
• Plan, implement, execute, and assess test coverage.
• Build test scripts and use automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Support manufacturing teams by developing automation scripts aligned to their needs.
• Monitor product quality and share improvement recommendations with development teams.
• Work closely with firmware and hardware teams to understand requirements and product features.
• Assist with firmware release planning and carry out release testing activities.

Required experience and technical background

• Experience in designing test architecture.
• Hands-on work with shell, Python, and Expect for test script development on Linux.
• Comfort with Excel spreadsheets and technical documentation.
• Exposure to Jenkins, network administration, network security, and JIRA.
• Experience with Linux and Windows installation environments.
• Understanding of server domains and server architecture.
