Overview
An experienced Project Manager is needed to support capital transmission initiatives in a regulated utility setting. In this role, you will act as the internal lead for project scope and work side by side with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partners to help deliver the work successfully.
The position is best suited to someone who has led large infrastructure or utility programs and is comfortable operating across complex organizations while keeping execution on track.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from the earliest planning and setup stages through construction and final completion.
- Own the internal project scope and keep schedule, budget, and deliverables aligned.
- Work closely with EPC contractors handling engineering and construction activities.
- Coordinate with cost management teams on budgets, forecasts, and financial controls.
- Partner with scheduling teams to manage timelines and milestone progress.
- Prepare clear status updates and executive-ready reports for leadership.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and outside partners.
- Track risks, address issues, and support strong overall project performance.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Collect progress updates from EPC partners.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and project financials.
- Follow scheduling plans and milestone completion.
- Create leadership status reports and project summaries.
- Work across multiple stakeholders to keep work moving.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of project management experience, with 8+ years preferred.
- Prior experience operating within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) delivery model.
- Exposure to utility, transmission, or other large linear infrastructure work such as pipelines or roads.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
- Strong organizational ability and effective communication skills.
