About the role
Uber Eats is focused on making food discovery and delivery feel effortless and rewarding. In this role, you will help shape consumer experiences that improve how millions of people find value through the platform. Your work will contribute to stronger discovery experiences and more affordable options for a wide, global audience.
As a Product Designer II on the Offers team within the Ads & Offers organization, you will help redefine what an offer can be. This position gives you scope to influence both design vision and product strategy, with the goal of delivering meaningful impact for merchants and customers through a global platform.
What you will do
- Take ownership of design challenges end to end, from early ideas through launch and ongoing improvement.
- Develop wireframes, polished visuals, and prototypes to solve complex user experience problems.
- Build and apply design systems that support clear, elegant product experiences.
- Work closely with product partners to shape requirements rather than simply converting them into designs.
- Spot future opportunities and act as a strategic partner to product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with UX research to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs.
Qualifications
The role calls for at least 3 years of product design experience and a portfolio that demonstrates strong design quality and structured problem solving. Candidates should bring excellent written and spoken communication, strong presentation and storytelling abilities, and the confidence to handle stakeholders, requirements, and deliverables independently. Experience with consumer mobile design, consumer marketplaces or commerce, global products, accessibility, and high-fidelity prototyping is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The base pay for New York, NY and San Francisco, CA roles is USD 153,000 to USD 170,000 per year. Full-time employees may also be eligible for Uber's bonus program, an equity award, and other forms of compensation. Employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan and a range of benefits.
