Job summary
This remote contract role is focused on supporting the development and refinement of AI systems through high-quality expert input. The position calls for someone who can apply policy knowledge to real-world materials and help shape how models interpret, reason, and respond.
Core responsibilities
- Examine, prepare, and refine policy materials, legal agreements, proposals, and research documents using strong Word and PDF capabilities.
- Offer practical guidance and recommendations on regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic, or finance-related topics.
- Review documents carefully to ensure they are compliant, clear, and aligned with accepted professional standards.
- Assist with accurate formatting, tracked edits, form completion, and extraction of relevant data from documents.
- Work with different teams to turn complex information into concise policies and procedures that can be acted on easily.
- Keep up to date with changes in regulations and sector-specific guidance relevant to the work.
- Present conclusions and recommendations clearly in both written and spoken communication.
Required background
- At least 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
- Advanced working knowledge of Word and PDF tools, including tracked changes, formatting, document review, and data extraction.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a professional approach.
- Proven experience drafting, assessing, and reviewing detailed policy or regulatory documents.
- Ability to handle several assignments at once and deliver within demanding deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality output.
Preferred experience
- Prior work with Fortune 500 clients or involvement in notable regulatory, legal, or policy initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver strong outcomes.
