An established dealership in Auckland is looking for a Parts Advisor to join its customer-facing parts team. The role suits someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about automotive parts and enjoys delivering dependable support to both internal and external customers.

You will partner with the Parts Department, workshop staff, front-of-house team, and retail and trade customers to help ensure smooth service and efficient parts handling across the dealership.

Key duties
- Deal professionally and promptly with retail customers, workshop technicians, panel beaters, and suppliers
- Split time between workshop counter work and retail parts support
- Interpret parts requirements accurately and apply solid technical product knowledge
- Respond to enquiries by phone and email
- Prepare and process parts orders, quotations, and stock-related questions
- Make sure workshop parts are supplied on time to keep productivity moving
- Keep invoices and records accurate and well maintained
Candidate profile
- At least 2 years of experience as a dealership Parts Advisor, or relevant trade parts experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving setting with high service standards and demanding customer needs
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong planning and organisational ability with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computers and common business systems
- Hold a current New Zealand full driver licence
- Enjoy working as part of a team in a friendly yet professional environment
