What the role involves
In this position, you will assist with wastewater treatment activities and related utilities, with an emphasis on process control and smooth production flow. You will be expected to handle chemicals safely, monitor processes, carry out testing, and operate equipment while ensuring all work aligns with GMP requirements, environmental standards, quality expectations, and workplace health and safety rules.
Key expectations
- Bring prior experience from a manufacturing, production, processing, or other industrial environment.
- Use practical knowledge of wastewater treatment, chemical handling, and process control systems.
- Apply strong mechanical understanding to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix operational problems.
- Work with a safety-first mindset and contribute to quality and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Keep clear records and communicate accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Understand GMP, environmental compliance, and WHS requirements, or be willing to build that knowledge quickly.
- Be available for rotating shifts across days, nights, and weekends as needed.
Screening and compliance
Applicants must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment and a National Police Check.
