Role Summary

The Manager, Clinical Solution Development oversees a group of Clinical Solution Specialists who build and roll out clinical care model strategies. This includes defining solution details, mapping end-to-end workflows, identifying technology requirements, clarifying roles and responsibilities, setting outcome measures, and evaluating ROI through billing and service optimization. The position partners with medical leaders to shape and implement the clinical roadmap and works closely with clinical subject matter experts to design individual services.

A major part of the role is connecting cross-functional teams so that everyone understands how the service delivery model affects neighboring functions such as revenue cycle management, finance, and reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an early-stage environment where service scope and protocols may change as the organization grows and evolves.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for developing and deploying clinical solution strategies.
• Translate care model ideas into clear solution definitions, workflows, technology needs, and operating roles.
• Work with medical leadership to plan and execute the clinical care roadmap.
• Partner with subject matter experts to design, refine, and implement clinical services.
• Align adjacent teams such as revenue cycle, finance, reporting, technology, and client services around service delivery needs.
• Use metrics, KPIs, and data insights to assess performance and improve solution effectiveness.
• Guide multiple concurrent projects and coach others who are leading initiatives.
• Support change management, adoption, and continuous improvement across stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to ROI planning, including billing code optimization and sustainable service design.
• Maintain focus on compliance, quality, and patient-centered outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 5-8+ years of experience in healthcare process design, workflow enablement, or solution delivery.
• Experience managing and developing teams focused on process improvement and operational excellence.
• Background in solution playbook creation and clinical solution development.
• Strong program and project management experience with multiple parallel initiatives.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across clinical, technology, business, client, and finance functions.
• Proven use of data, KPIs, and performance measures to guide decisions.
• Experience documenting clinical pain points and problem statements to support technical solutioning.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, and prioritization abilities in fast-moving, high-growth settings.
• Experience leading change management and encouraging adoption across diverse teams.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or process engineering experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Clinical licensure preferred.
• Comfort using tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheets, Visio, Teams, Excel, and Jira.
• Willingness to travel for occasional team and business meetings.
• Ability to thrive in an evolving early-stage organization.
