What You Will Do

  • Partner with IT and Rolls-Royce fleet engineering teams to identify and support opportunities where digital solutions can create the greatest value.
  • Work with large datasets from engine sensors, test rigs, and fleet operations by cleaning, understanding, and analyzing the data.
  • Develop, train, and assess machine learning models for applications such as engineering knowledge search, anomaly analysis, production support, and predictive maintenance.
  • Record work clearly and share results with both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Preferred: strong technical and interpersonal abilities, including systems thinking, communication, time management, business awareness, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred: strong problem-solving ability and comfort working with people outside data or AI specialties, including engineers and support teams for mechanical systems.
  • Preferred: experience mentoring and coaching colleagues, along with a habit of continuously learning and sharing new knowledge in a fast-moving field.
