Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

BAYAN MEDICAL COMPANY is looking for an organized and seasoned Logistics Coordinator to oversee and improve logistics and supply chain activities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on managing shipments, vendor coordination, compliance, inventory flow, and operational efficiency for medical device distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange both local and overseas transport for medical devices, with attention to speed and cost control.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics partners, freight agents, and courier companies to keep deliveries running smoothly.
• Make sure all handling, storage, and transportation activities follow MOHAP and GDP requirements for medical devices.
• Handle day-to-day logistics work, including planning shipments, tracking movement, preparing documentation, and resolving issues.
• Track inventory transfers between warehouses, distribution centers, and customers, and help optimize those flows.
• Keep shipping and stock records accurate through ERP-based systems.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to support correct picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
• Contribute to demand planning and forecast improvement using data and operational insights.
• Spot opportunities to improve processes, raise efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
• Take part in or lead logistics projects such as system enhancements, vendor assessments, and SOP creation.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, ideally in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare distribution.
• Good understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures and relevant regulatory compliance.
• Prior exposure to ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational abilities, with solid problem-solving and communication skills.
