Role Overview
As a Learning Consultant, you will shape, build, and deliver learning programs that respond to business priorities and strengthen both individual and organizational capability. The position involves close collaboration with stakeholders to uncover learning needs, create engaging solutions, and support a strong continuous-learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to uncover learning needs and identify capability gaps.
- Build and roll out learning strategies, training programs, and development initiatives.
- Create training collateral such as facilitator notes, presentation decks, and digital learning assets.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and other learning activities for employees or clients.
- Carry out training needs assessments and advise on suitable learning interventions.
- Measure training impact using participant feedback, assessments, and performance data.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop accurate and relevant learning materials.
- Support LMS administration, e-learning initiatives, and other digital learning efforts.
- Coordinate learning projects, schedules, stakeholders, and deliverables.
- Keep current with learning trends, instructional design methods, and best practices in the field.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3–5+ years of experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, consulting, or a comparable function.
- Proven strength in training design, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to convert business requirements into practical learning solutions.
- Solid project coordination and organizational skills.
- Experience developing engaging training content and learning materials.
- A creative, proactive, and learner-first approach.
Preferred Experience
- Background in corporate learning, consulting firms, technology companies, or multinational organizations.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning platforms.
- Understanding of instructional design approaches such as ADDIE, SAM, or blended learning.
- Exposure to e-learning authoring tools like Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, or similar software.
- Professional certifications related to learning, coaching, facilitation, or talent development are an advantage.
