Role Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the People & Talent team by handling both HR operations and recruiting administration. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, this role also supports the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with day-to-day coordination. The position serves as an important operational anchor for the HR function, helping keep employee records accurate, workflows efficient, and the experience for candidates and employees consistent and professional.
This role is well suited for someone at the beginning of an HR career who wants exposure to HR administration, talent acquisition support, and systems work in a fast-moving, people-focused environment.
HR Administration & Operations
- Coordinate the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including new hire setup, paperwork, role changes, leaves of absence, and exit processes.
- Keep personnel files and HR records current and compliant with internal policies and legal standards.
- Prepare and distribute HR communications, offer documentation, and employment verification materials.
- Act as an initial contact for general HR questions and route more complex matters to the Senior HR Manager.
- Assist with benefits administration tasks such as enrollment tracking, employee guidance, and vendor coordination as assigned.
HRIS Data Entry & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate employee records in the company HRIS, with ExponentHR preferred.
- Enter new hires, terminations, status updates, and pay changes accurately and on time.
- Create standard HR reports and support data preparation for audits, compliance reviews, and leadership reporting.
- Identify data issues and help with system cleanup and ongoing optimization.
Talent Acquisition Support
- Coordinate schedules for phone screens, interviews, and debrief meetings across active hiring efforts.
- Keep applicant tracking records current, including stage updates, dispositions, and notes.
- Support candidate communication by sending interview confirmations, status updates, and follow-up messages.
- Help manage job posting logistics across internal and external channels as directed.
- Assist with handoffs from recruiting to HR once candidates accept offers.
Compliance & Reporting
- Track compliance-related documentation such as I-9 forms, background checks, and required training completion.
- Support audit preparation by gathering and organizing needed records.
- Maintain HR tracking tools covering headcount, open positions, and onboarding progress.
- Stay informed on basic federal and state employment law requirements relevant to daily HR administration.
General Duties
- Demonstrate the company values of Love, Accountability, and Evolution in daily work and interactions.
- Act as backup for the Office Manager and Facilities Technician when needed, including front office coverage, facilities support, and administrative continuity.
- Take on other tasks assigned by the Senior HR Manager or Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have 0 to 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support. Strong attention to detail, solid organization, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly are essential. The role also requires comfort managing several priorities in a deadline-driven setting and working with Google Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications include bilingual English/Spanish ability, experience with ExponentHR or a similar HRIS, familiarity with an ATS, an associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline, and HR certification or related coursework such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or work toward those credentials.

Work Environment
This is an onsite position based in Rockwall, Texas.
