HR Intern

About the Role

Taktile helps financial institutions evolve into AI-native businesses. The company is expanding quickly across banks and insurance providers, and this role is designed for an HR Intern who will act as a key representative for future employees.

You will work closely with the People team to support the full employee journey, from onboarding through ongoing feedback and assistance. The role involves maintaining HR systems, ensuring employee records remain accurate, and handling administrative work that keeps people operations efficient. You will also partner with colleagues across the business on a range of HR activities that support company growth and employee experience.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate onboarding for new joiners, including first-day plans and communication to create a seamless start.
• Keep internal HR databases current and manage employee information in the HRIS (HiBob) with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare supporting documents for HR processes such as internal transfers and mobility.
• Help administer employee benefits and communicate how those benefits work.
• Respond to general HR questions from employees and managers with clear, timely information.
• Look for ways to improve HR workflows, including supporting the creation and refinement of AI-based tools such as Claude skills.

• Strong spoken and written English; German is an advantage.
• Curiosity about new tools, concepts, and processes, along with a willingness to question existing ways of working.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to HR software and related tools.

Employment Structure

Taktile operates through regional legal entities around the world. Depending on where this role is based, the employment or engagement may be with Taktile LLC in the US, Taktile GmbH in Germany, Taktile Ltd in the UK, or Taktile SRL in Romania. The exact entity will be confirmed during the offer stage.

Privacy Notice

Taktile serves as the data controller for information shared during the application process. The company collects and processes details such as name, contact information, resume/CV, work history, education, and any other information submitted by the applicant or obtained from public sources or references.

This information is used to assess candidacy, communicate during recruitment, meet legal requirements such as right-to-work checks, and—if consent is provided—consider candidates for future roles.

For EU/UK applicants, the legal grounds relied on are pre-contractual steps at the applicant’s request, legal obligations, and legitimate interest in evaluating candidates.

If an application is unsuccessful, data is retained for 12 months after the recruitment process ends unless the applicant agrees to longer retention. For successful candidates, the information becomes part of the employment record.
